Actually, insofar as spam goes, http://www.wordpress.com (my host) puts all incoming messages into my spam folder. I open that to review the messages to either delete spam or put messages into the pending folder so I may respond to them. I do this frequently. Unfortunately, spam is out there. It is hard to find. If you are using wordpress.com, go to Appearance, and then Widgets – down at the bottom is Twitter Timeline. You will have to add it to your menu wherever you want it. I am sorry, but that is all I know.
