As I opened my eyes this morning, I greeted the day with prayers and a smile. It is so good to be alive!

As I age, aches and pains of the body are there. I am not as young as I used to be. It takes me longer to do what I used to do in a few minutes. Minutes can become hours now.

But the joy of life remains.

A flock of geese just flew over, honking all the while. The sun feels warms on my head and is bright. Colors surround me in many forms. It will be another good day.

How do I know that will be true? Because I declare it to be so.

Will there be obstacles to face? Yes. Will some of those have a negative impact? Of course, but I will counter it with a positive attitude. I know that what I focus on will multiply, so I focus on the good. The bad stuff will multiply exponentially, like feeding a Gremlin after midnight and then getting it wet (like in the movie “Gremlins”)!

What do you want to emphasize…positive or negative? It is your choice.

Life-long learning has been my quest always. There is so much in the world that brings us down. Like the old song says: "Eliminate the negative, Accentuate the positive..."     My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on a variety of websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

    I think everything published was actually very reasonable. However, what about this? suppose you added a little content? I am not suggesting your content is not solid., but what if you added a post title to possibly grab a person’s attention? I mean Today | upliftingthoughts4u is kinda plain. You could peek at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they write post titles to get viewers to open the links. You might add a video or a picture or two to get readers interested about what you’ve got to say. Just my opinion, it could make your blog a little bit more interesting.

      My host is http://www.wordpress.com, which has free themes and lots of online guides. I used Mystique, which I modified, using the guides. It is mobile friendly. It is reasonably priced. There is a double layer of security if you have a smart phone. You might want to check it out. All you have to do is “follow the bouncing ball.” It is very easy to do. No coding knowledge is required. Follow your passion and blog. Write it down and get it out there! Happy blogging! Enjoy your day! 🙂
