Today
As I opened my eyes this morning, I greeted the day with prayers and a smile. It is so good to be alive!
As I age, aches and pains of the body are there. I am not as young as I used to be. It takes me longer to do what I used to do in a few minutes. Minutes can become hours now.
But the joy of life remains.
A flock of geese just flew over, honking all the while. The sun feels warms on my head and is bright. Colors surround me in many forms. It will be another good day.
How do I know that will be true? Because I declare it to be so.
Will there be obstacles to face? Yes. Will some of those have a negative impact? Of course, but I will counter it with a positive attitude. I know that what I focus on will multiply, so I focus on the good. The bad stuff will multiply exponentially, like feeding a Gremlin after midnight and then getting it wet (like in the movie “Gremlins”)!
What do you want to emphasize…positive or negative? It is your choice.

After I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on each time a comment is added I get four emails with the exact same comment. There has to be a way you can remove me from that service? Thanks a lot!

From WordPress IT assistance – for duplicate comments received because they checked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox issue:
The easiest way for them to remove themselves from comment notifications is by navigating to the following page when logged in to their WordPress.com account:
http://wordpress.com/following/edit/
From that page, they’ll need to click the “Edit” link next to your blog name. Then, they’ll see the option to toggle the comment notification off. Here’s an example:
If they do not subscribe through WordPress.com and instead use only email, they can still update their subscription setting by using the Manage Subscriptions link at the bottom of the email as shown here:

What you said made a bunch of sense. But, what about this? suppose you composed a catchier post title? I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added a headline to maybe grab a person’s attention? I mean Today | upliftingthoughts4u is a little plain. You should glance at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create post headlines to grab people to click. You might add a video or a pic or two to grab readers interested about what you’ve got to say. In my opinion, it might make your blog a little livelier.
