Today
As I opened my eyes this morning, I greeted the day with prayers and a smile. It is so good to be alive!
As I age, aches and pains of the body are there. I am not as young as I used to be. It takes me longer to do what I used to do in a few minutes. Minutes can become hours now.
But the joy of life remains.
A flock of geese just flew over, honking all the while. The sun feels warms on my head and is bright. Colors surround me in many forms. It will be another good day.
How do I know that will be true? Because I declare it to be so.
Will there be obstacles to face? Yes. Will some of those have a negative impact? Of course, but I will counter it with a positive attitude. I know that what I focus on will multiply, so I focus on the good. The bad stuff will multiply exponentially, like feeding a Gremlin after midnight and then getting it wet (like in the movie “Gremlins”)!
What do you want to emphasize…positive or negative? It is your choice.

Actually, insofar as spam goes, http://www.wordpress.com (my host) puts all incoming messages into my spam folder. I open that to review the messages to either delete spam or put messages into the pending folder so I may respond to them. I do this frequently. Unfortunately, spam is out there. Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all. However think about if you added some great pictures or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Thank you for your compliment. In response to your question, I have to say that centering myself is an easy thing because I have practiced it for many years. Eric Butterworth used to say that life is a wheel – one can be at the hub (center) or out on the circumference. If one lives on the circumference, one feels really busy and run over…caught up in the circumstances. However, if one lives in the hub, it is quiet. When I take God’s hand in the morning, I am living in the hub. As to clearing my head, meditation and deep breathing can accomplish that quickly. Happy writing! Enjoy your day! 🙂

In response to your question, I always keep a separate copy of my posts so that I have it backed up, and I have an exterior hard drive for this as well.
