As I opened my eyes this morning, I greeted the day with prayers and a smile. It is so good to be alive!

As I age, aches and pains of the body are there. I am not as young as I used to be. It takes me longer to do what I used to do in a few minutes. Minutes can become hours now.

But the joy of life remains.

A flock of geese just flew over, honking all the while. The sun feels warms on my head and is bright. Colors surround me in many forms. It will be another good day.

How do I know that will be true? Because I declare it to be so.

Will there be obstacles to face? Yes. Will some of those have a negative impact? Of course, but I will counter it with a positive attitude. I know that what I focus on will multiply, so I focus on the good. The bad stuff will multiply exponentially, like feeding a Gremlin after midnight and then getting it wet (like in the movie “Gremlins”)!

What do you want to emphasize…positive or negative? It is your choice.

      My host is http://www.wordpress.com, which has free themes and lots of online guides. I used Mystique, which I modified, using the guides. It is mobile friendly. It is reasonably priced. There is a double layer of security if you have a smart phone. You might want to check it out. All you have to do is “follow the bouncing ball.” It is very easy to do. No coding knowledge is required. Follow your passion and blog. Write it down and get it out there! Happy blogging! Enjoy your day! 🙂

      In response to your question, I always keep a separate copy of my posts so that I have it backed up, and I have an exterior hard drive for this as well. I believe my host, http://www.wordpress.com, has two layers of security if you have a smart phone. I have not had any problem to date.     My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

    With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any ways to help stop content from being stolen? I’d truly appreciate it.

      Thank you for your comment. As to plagiarism and copyright violations, I can sympathize with you. However, the internet has no parameters. Once it is put out there, who knows where it goes or how? I personally welcome sharing because it is the highest form of praise. I just want to get some ideas out there so people can become more aware and begin to make different decisions based on new information and expanded awareness. As to copyright violations, you can submit your work to the U.S. Copyright office for a cost of $35 online. However, the only way one can prosecute is, after acceptance and a copyright is issued, one must pursue in U.S. District Court, with a lawyer at the cost of $$$$$$. You just have to ask yourself if it is worth the effort. Enjoy your day anyway. 🙂
